What devices can I use the ECD Connect App on?
The app should work on any smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer – we suggest using a Chrome browser to get the best experience!
Do I need data to use the ECD Connect App?
Yes, you will need to use your data to use the app. However, the app does not require a lot of data.
We are working on a reverse billing data solution to make access data free. We will share it as soon as it is available. Longer term, our hope is that the SA government will zero rate our url, allowing free access to all.
Do I need to be online to use the ECD Connect App?
To sign-up and access it the first time, yes. After that you only need to go online at least once every 30 days.
